Question to those running G60-Ground Contol coilovers

I know this probably belongs in the susp. forum, but I posted this question in a thread in there and haven't gotten any feedback. I'd like to get the car back on the road within the next day or two so I'm just looking for a timely response.

    Question:
To those of you who are running the GC weld in coilovers with G60 Billy Sport shocks up front - what did you use for an O-ring at the base of the shock shaft?

The G60 shocks come with an O-ring in the collar nut (which is unusable), where as E30 shocks come with a separate O-ring. Since the G60 shafts are wider in diameter, I can't use that one either.

    Thanks

Would it be possible to take it to a parts store and find an o-ring that would work? I mean, if that is all you are looking for of course.

      It's a weird size - 33mm I.D.

I might try today anyways, but it's a shot in the dark.

While this is here - what did you guys do about the 6mm of gap between the shock and the tube?

I found something special on my home depot excursion. Its kind of like handle bar 'tape' - stretchy rubber that sticks without adhesives. Worked amazingly. I'll post pics later.
