    old BMW fuel question

So my e23 has had a hard time starting since I bought it. It always does start, but it seems like it takes a bit to build up enough fuel pressure to get the engine started. Any thoughts?

Try replacing the fuel filter. If it's clogged it can cause this. Not sure where it is on an e23 though...

could be a leak in the system somewhere causing it to loose fuel pressure. Check the lines in front of the fuel pump going to the block.
