I bought a new Febi coolant level sensor as preventative maintenance and noticed it would randomly trigger a coolant low light although the level was fine. I tested the sensor and it works fine so there was an intermittent contact issue. Before I inspected the car wiring, I installed the old working sensor and noticed that the connector fit snug. When I tried it on the Febi again it was loose. So I measured the diameter of the pins and found that the 2 male bullet style pins on the Febi are almost 1mm smaller in diameter than the original. I think I could remedy the problem by simply bending the pins slightly. Just wanted to put it out there incase someone else was experiencing this issue.

"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
