BMW light Fog Light Lenses feedback?

Hey guys, about 2 years ago I purchased these "high quality UV resistant acrylic compounds" lenses from bmwlight.com and I would say roughly a years use of the fog lights being on while driving at night, they have seem to warp from usage. Has anyone experienced this? The fog light bulbs I'm using are Nokya 2500s. People claim to run HIDs with these lenses but I don't see how theirs have not warped or melted yet. Anyone care to chime in?

if you can get more light out of a 35w HID than you can a 55w halogen, that means more of the energy is being turned into light than heat.

HID's have cooler bulb temps than halogens.

Was going to say the same thing.

But I haven't heard of anyone else's warping, it is a possibilty since it is plastic.

I run 55watt HID's and they seem to run a lot hotter than my fog lights. Just seems rather weird. If I knew they were going to warp over time, I would have definitely purchased glass ones.
