Having come to the realization of who liam is I dont think he cares all that much. For the simple fact that this costs less than a reman afm this is good info anyway.
I would like to see a dyno sheet myself though so if you get the chance please post them.Leave a comment:

I agreee with this, BUT...it may be worth it to some peeeps..like me
just to ditch the AFM, ive been through 3 used ones and im starting to hate them
I dont really care about the increased HP, just that the old AFM is going and ive got a more relaible MAFLeave a comment:

post dyno sheets or it's all BS.So it took about 30 minutes to install (probably an hour and a half without a full shop and many years experience doing this kind of thing).

The AFM this replaced was about 6 months and 1000 miles old. Everything on this engine is pretty much 100% fresh.
Right off the bat, definite improvement. Smoother idle and no bounce when the throttle gets "tapped" in overall drive-ability there is a very noticeable improvement in throttle response and the subjective ass dyno tells me that it's gained some torque and a wider power band.
Motronic 1.3 still has nothing for AE, your throttle response will never match anything with a modern ECU.Leave a comment:

I just saw this, was thinking about it, but guess I don't really need it. I wouldn't mind a flywheel honestly. The car doesn't rev as fast as I want like my 350z does. :(Leave a comment:

Well yes.
It is not "stock" an awful lot of things have been changed not necessarily just bolt on stuff either, it was dialed in on the dyno prior to this being slapped in.Leave a comment:

Good info, thanks for sharing. Did the car already have a performance chip? Are you running larger injectors or any other little bolt-ons?Right off the bat, definite improvement. I only tossed it in this afternoon and drove it to get coffee.
I keep pretty tight records on this car so after a little while I'll have information on general fuel economy and more (albeit subjective) information from driving it in different conditions.
And yes, if I get a chance, I'll run it on the dyno and then will have some comparison from the last time we ran the car with the AFM.
After that... I have some evil plans (it'll be a while though).Leave a comment:
