Non-E30 owner attending 2025 SIGFEST at Woodcliff Lake: a few questions

    Hi all,

I’m planning to attend SIGFEST 2025 at BMW NA HQ in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, and had a couple of logistics questions as a non-E30 owner:
    • I’m a current BMW CCA member and part of the E30 Chapter. If I’m not bringing an E30, can I still register/attend and join the facility tour? I realize show parking is E30-only. I plan to park off-site, but can I still access the event grounds?
    • Can I bring a +1? I’ll be driving in from Toronto (about 8 hours) and want to confirm guest policies.

I’m mainly interested in seeing the cars and the HQ event. Any guidance from past attendees would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

( I wanted to post this elsewhere, but that subsection of the forum is very inactive and I don't want to run out of time to book a place if I end up going :( )

Those are really good questions. It's not abundantly clear if 'registering' for $40 is only for the people showing an E30 M3 car on the concours, or if that's the price of admission for all spectators and participants.

Would be best to contact the organizers (I haven't attended before, so can't speak to first-hand experience on how it works). I really doubt they'd charge spectators $40 each, but then, to your question, who can take the facility tour?

I attended SIGFEST last year (also as a non-E30 owner), and you should be fine joining the event even without bringing an E30. The show parking is indeed reserved for E30s, but as long as you park off-site, you can still walk in, enjoy the displays, and join the HQ tour. I also brought a guest with me — nobody asked for extra registration, so a +1 should not be an issue. The best part was the variety of builds and being able to chat with owners, so I’d say the 8-hour drive is worth it if you love the community vibe.
