    shift knob off

    ok newb question...

i tried pulling it up but it's stuck. Do I have to do any sort of special twists? Or its just stuck and need more force? I don't want to break anything... lol

Just pull straight up.... you will need to use those arms, though.... some of them can really be on there.

    Watch your nose.

I all but knocked myself out doing this the other day...........good times. It helps to look away while pulling.

if your a douche, put camera on film, put face directly over knob, pull.

if your cool, forget the whole face part, but still film it.
i bet there are some good lolz at some vids of removing the knob.

Look straight down at it and pull up. Hard.

              It's fun, trust me.

Swing wild, brake later, don't apologize.

LOL, a buddy of mine gave himself a black eye, no joke. He went out to pull the knob off and came back in holding his face.

If you have a sunroof, open it. Then stand up and pull it out, you get much more leverage. Just don't sack yourself LOL

if you pull with your body not with your arms your whole body will move when it comes free not just your arms, thus decreasing face punch chances

While attempting to pull up on the knob while looking directly at it, don't forget that the secret to this method is that the car must be on a downward slope with the e-brake disengaged and first gear selected. No matter how hard you pull (in any direction) the car won't come out of gear, it's magical. That's the secret, I swear. Best of luck.

Use only your back, leave your legs entirely out of the equation, pull with a twisting, jerking motion.
