    Hey guys, hows it going.

    Just picked up 2 E30's for a project car, a 86 Drop Top 325i and a 87 325eS.

I got them pretty cheap, b/c they are a little rough plus only the white one runs. It has a misfire and needs a radiator hose while the Red car floods and the owner couldn't figure out why, killing the starter trying to start it. I will prob. end up parting the white one out, b/c I mainly want the red one to make into a auto-x car.

I found out after I bought it, supposedly the 325es has a somewhat rare body kit on it, I guess its a BBS kit from what I have been reading, not 100% sure. I'm going to start off trying to get it to run and then go from there, replacing the suspension bushings, and doing the small stuff first.

Anyways, I am new to BMW's, I owned a good amount of F-body's including cam'd LS1's etc., Sentra SE-R's, Altima SE-R, Mustang, etc. so I am new to this and I have a lot to learn. I know a few guys that have E30's and other BMW's that have been giving me pointers and showed me this site.

I'm sure I'll be around a lot getting info and posting progress. Thanks guys!

Here are some quick pictures I took after spraying off the red one.

Thats what he said at least, I haven't had time to even look yet so I am going to replace the plugs and start checking the usual. I am going to make sure I am even getting spark first while doing the plugs, then going to check make sure there are no tears in the tb boot, make sure the MAF is good, etc.

          Welcome to the site!

And YES that IS the rare BBS body kit that is on that car. I have the same kit sitting in storage. It will have BBS stamped in it in some places...

Welcome, I don't know how much you paid for it, but I'm willing to guess that kit alone is worth more than the car it's on.
