#295533, because Roundel is one of the best publications to date and I appreciate the 15% additional dealer discount on parts. Some of the national events are a bit cliquish, but the regional events always have a great blend of enthusiasts.

#387184, I joined for the Roundel subscription, dealer discount and driver's schools mostly, but the local Connecticut Valley Chapter has some interesting get togethers. Like many other chapters, they seem to be the "wine and cheese" crowd.

I joined this year so I could do some driver's schools. I got $10 off a new key for my E30. The copies I had were worn as hell, so I'm already reaping the benefits. :D

Roundel magazine alone is worth the membership price.

I've been a member 3 or 4 times over the last 10 years, but I've never made it to any of the local gatherings. All of the pictures in the local flyer looks like a bunch of old farts with x3's and x5's. God, I hate suv's.

Roundel + chapters offer lower price for DEs, or sometimes require you be a member to participate.

No brainer. If I had time, I might go to some other events - only been to a couple of meetings. Lots of nice people.

I'll have to take you up on it when I have a nicer car. Other enthusiasts would laugh at my rust bucket IX daily driver. One of these days I'll break into the racing scene. I have a nice e36 325is that I plan on using to hit the track. I'm saving up to build my dream car right now, an e30 M3 with an alpha-N 2.5L.

There is no local chapter for the Syracuse area, and Burdick doesn't honor the CCA discount. Not sure if Holtz does either, but I don't go there very much. However, I'm a member mainly for Roundel, and would like to get to a DE down at the Glen now that I have a non-eta.
