What paint to use on ellipsoid?

No I don't need the retaining ring that goes over the glass lens. If anything I need the chrome reflector that surrounds the ellipsoid glass enclosure that sits just behind the lens. I think it will come off the main housing but it is in there pretty good right now from all the adheisive used to seal everything up to begin with. The pic you posted does not look like my lights and mine do not have that white piece protruding out like that, but if the light were turned to face the front I would be able to tell better. I would take a pic of my reflector, but my camera is being used for the weekend and not available. That almost looks like a high beam to me. The one that broke on mine was the drivers low beam. If you have a good low beam silver reflector then I am certainly interested. Thanks! The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!

By outer chrome ring I meant the one that sits outside the inner ellipsoid lens:
I have a few of these if this is what you're looking for.
This is the main reflector for your lowbeam headlight. It directs the light from the bulb through the inner ellipsoid lens
If you take apart the headlight you'll see what I mean
