The other day I was leaving a pretty steep driveway with my wagon. As I approach the road the IS lip hit the pavement and there wasn't much I could do about it (ie: no room to take the dip at an angle). So, I pulled up on the ebrake as I pulled away which made the ass of the car squat down and gave me the few MM of clearence under the lip that I needed.

BTW, Ill be in Germany/Austria for the next 10 days, I really wanted to make time to meet up with you, AC, Mike, etc but doesnt look like its going to happen. Good news is it looks like there will be more trips in the future for the new business.
