    Reputable shops in SoCal?

I'm moving to Huntington Beach, CA in a couple of weeks and I just bought an e30 so I'm looking for suggestions on reputable shops in Southern California. I've seen a couple of shops on r3v through random postings but I don't remember the specifics. Any recommendations?

    Thanks!

I take mine to Black Forest BMW for all my mechanical work. The guy's name is Randy. He's really straight forward and an honest guy who does good work for cheap. It's in Costa Mesa;)

Coast Motor Werk is in Huntington Beach. Ron (the owner) is a great guy, and Brandon is a great tech, he does all the work that I cant/won't do on my cars.

BMW and MINI Specialists - Coast Motor Werk is your premier BMW and MINI service and repair shop - located in Huntington Beach and Irvine.

Coast Motor Works in Huntington Bch. - owner is Ron, they do only BMW's & know E30's inside & out. Randy at Black Forest is also good as japandrew73 mentioned.

Devon beat me to it - can't go wrong with either, just one is a little bit more of a drive.

This guy (Robert) just moved into a shop in HB, and is very good at what he does, and works almost exclusively on e30s.

Anyone know of any good shops in the IE? I can't really drive out to HB or to TNG automotive.

They are in Gardena, CA. But they are worth the drive. Hoa and Tang are the most honest mechanics you will ever meet in your life.

                    They work exclusively on BMWs.
