    Sensors , oh sensors!

So id like to change out my shredded crank positon sensor

Ensure accurate RPM sensing with the Facet Crankshaft Position Sensor 12141720852. Compatible with BMW 325i, 525i, 325is, 325e, 528e, 325iC, and 325iX, this sensor provides crucial data for precise engine management, contributing to smooth operation and performance.

But i thought there was only 1 of them? why does AZ say i need 2?

    also the water temp sensor

    FAE Temperature Sensor "Coolant Temp Sensor" Call (310)626-8765. May Qualify For FREE SHIPPING. Parts# 13 62 1 357 414 13-62-1-357-414 13.62.1.357.414 13621357414. 733i, 633CSi, 630CSi, 533i, 530i, 528i, 528e, 325is, 325iX, 325i, 325es, 325e, 325, 318i, 3.0Si.

these would be the two major ones that would need to be changed that would directly effect idle and running conditions correct?

    ninja edit:

were does the crank position sensor connect? the is one of the w2 plugs below the diagnostic port?

the '88 has one sensor, it mounted on the pass. side of the front timing wheel (under the distributor)

it does, it plugs in on the bracket on the maniold, right beside the cyl ID plug (beside the dipstick)

                    They both could effect idle.

your best bet for that sensor would be the junk yard for the cheapest route, then Blunt, and other parts suppliers.

the dealer I think will most likly pull your asshole inside out.
