    What the...... strange blue box

So I went digging around under the dash of my car last night looking for a "johnson box". I stumbled upon this big blue box next to another black box that I am assuming is an old alarm system. This is under the drivers side of the dash. Any ideas? Is that a factory piece? Thanks,

    Ryan

Its plastic. I'm not sure what wires are coming out of it. I have to go look again.

Judging by the amount of butt connectors you have down there, I would guess that's not OE.

          Aftermarket alarm (or whatever)

          Could be a bomb though.

I think the butt connectors you are seeing have more to do with the black alarm box. I think.

So we'll call it a bomb then. Now the real question, do I cut the green or blue wire?!

                          DO NOT CUT ANY WIRES!!!!

until the counter gets down to 3 seconds, then proceed to make a hasty decision.

Don't cut anything until you check it for markings. If this is in your Hartge, it could be the Hartge ECU piggyback. (I've heard of the H35-24s having those)

Haha don't worry. I won't be cutting any wires Kronus. I'm actually trying to find the fuel controller that the importer may have installed to pass US emissions.
