I thought it was the curse of Babe Ruth. I.e. him leaving to the Yankees and the Yankee's always fucking over Boston since. Unless a Yankee hijacks the plane I dont see how the Yankees are going to do anything now.

                you thought wrong.

it IS the curse of the bambino... but ever since they sold him, the redsox have failed to win a world series. THAT is the curse.

Its all BS anyways, everyone knows the redsox only fail to win because up until recent history they failed to accept black players. And we fought for equal rights.... HA.... idiots.

Oh mybad, I must have gotten that from the media. Its usually only mentioned when the Yankees screw over the sox by buying a prospect, like A-rod.

The NHL is going down the drain. You can hardly even get hockey games on broadcast television on the west coast (I've never seen one on TV in Oregon).

Baseball and hockey are a tie for the most boring sports to watch on TV.

Fuck everyone for saying Fuck the Yankees, regardless of how much the ball club spends on its payers, just remember that money has to be made somehow, its made by the yanks winning games and the series.

Agreed. I still like the yankees not everyone has to be such a hater, but hey winning championships that can happen. Red Sox played better in the end, but honestly I wanted the World Series to be Yankees and Cardinals but ohwell. Again enjoy one of our pasttimes but remember it's a game.

I was glad to see Boston win just for the fact they came back as they did, good lessons there.

As for sports on TV, I've watched more baseball the last two weeks than my whole life, getting sick of it already And I play hockey and still don't watch it on TV. Too much talk about sports on TV these days. Pre-game show, game, intermission show, game, post game show. Blah-blah-blah.

                            on that note..... Go Stros!!!!!!!

I am also cheering on the Astros. Too bad Beltran will probably be playing for the Yanks next year when they drop another eleventybillion dollars on a player.

red sox have failed to accept black players? Im not so sure about that there bud. Mo Vaughn, Jim Rice... Louis Tiant wasnt white either. And these guys were loved or one time loved in Vaughn's case. Are you in Barry Bonds' pocket here or what cause that was the most bogus statement Ive ever heard
