    PPI etiquette

    Customarily, who pays for a PPI (pre-purchase inspection)? The buyer or the the seller?

    buyer, if they find no problems

    seller if they find issues that the seller did not disclose

        ditto to turf - that is 100% the buyer's responsibility.

          Buyer. It should cost no more than an hour of shop labor time though.

            Paid $100 for mine. The shop was great - he went over the car by phone and then faxed me a written report for my records :D

            Edit: I see you're in Texas. If you're looking in the Dallas area, I had Eurosport in Plano do my PPI.
