From experience, duct tape and coolant. I blew my lower radiator hose at the drag strip an hour and a half away, taped it and filled it with water and drove it home. :)

In addition to all the good suggestions (blowup sex doll gets my vote for 'most creative'), I always bring an extra key (hidden somewhere under the hood).
