I started watching WTCC between F1 races, and was wondering what the hell I was seeing in the mix of BMW 320si cars and Leon TDI and the Chevy Cruz ... Looked boxy, but not an E30... it was a Russian LADA 110!!! OMG

Some specs
The WTCC Lada Sport 110 2.0 is a fresh effort from ... Lada. Having been run as a privateer entry for the some 2007 and 2008, Lada has entered the WTCC as a full works team. The 110 will only be raced in the 2009 season until Brno where the restyled 110, the Priora, will take over. As the results go, the Lada Sport is a terrible race car. Having achieved nothing significant so far and usually making up the backmarkers, it can be said that no one will particularly miss this car. Here's hoping the Priora at least moves them up closer to the midfield where the SEATs and BMWs of the privateer team call it their own domain.
Engine
1998cc naturally aspirated I4
270bhp @ 8500rpm
265nm @ 6500rpm
Transmission
FWD 6-spd sequential
Weight
1170kg (minimum weight including the driver)
Dimensions
L: 4245mm
W: 1809mm
Wheelbase: 2540mm
Thumbs up for playing with the big dogs!!!
