actually i have a buddy that is really really into beamers and he said it can be done for right around 1200 for the whole sha-bang, which imo isnt bad, plus has the beamer know how and i can work on just about anything so im not worried about the difficulty level.

Hows it goin guys, The anme is Rob if you couldnt guess from the username. Just figured i would say hello and let you know a little about myself. I'm 26 and live in hopkinsville, ky and have been into european cars pritty much half my life. I've been through many VW's from (2) mkII gti/golf, mkIII jetta, mkIV gti, mkV gti, and the most recent a 1990 g60 corrado. I'll be picking up my first e30 on sunday. Heres a couple of pics from the guy who had the car previously. Also dont worry to much cause i'm not that guy thats gonna come in here and ask a million questions. I'm right there with ya'. I've had 20+ VW's in the past and present and just bought my first E30 3 weeks ago. The wife currently drives an 89' Jetta coupe with a VR swap, I have the E30 (for now) and an 84' vanagon. GL with it!
