Welcome to the cult of e30....

Welcome to the cult, I mean group, yeah that's the ticket..... Are you going to make it to the E30 picnic???? That is the big cult, I mean group, gathering at the triple X in Easysquah... Watch out, E30's are addictive.... We have five now and have parted out two, and sold one.... watch out if you go to the Griots day on Saturday... they put something in the koolaid that makes you want to, no, have to go and by an M3..... I swear that addicts have it easier than e30 owners... good luck, and welcome to the cult, er, I mean group.....

A post full of Noobs. Welcome all!

You are right about the cult thing. I know my dealer gets way too much of my money. Do they have e30 rehab?

I will be at the e30 too. Hope to see you guys there.

Mike your WI car wasn't rusty? If you are going to drive that far for a car come to the south. As long as you don't live near the coast cars don't rust that bad if at all. Your car looks good in the pictures though. More details on the car.

some spots on the body have a lil rust on it but nothing im concerned about. i just used some touch up paint on it. viola! gone. as for the underside. all i could see was the sway bar and control arm were rusty other than that it looks fine. i got kinda lucky on that aspect. i wanna get new sways and control arms anyways. ill post some more pics tomoro since it will be a nice day out. and it will be clean. can't wait for the E30 picnic. ill have new rubber and a new valve cover/gasket on it. thats the only stuff i can do right now before the meet. my e36 m3 was a money disposal so im sure this will be too. im gunna fully mod it. no body mods....so no worries it wont be ghetto lookin. i know how to make it clean. o i lied the one body mod will be an IS lip ASAP!

So, how well did you inspect it? If you see a little rust in places there is likely more under the surface. I am not trying to crap on your thread but I bought an E30 recently and when I looked at it I didn't see but a couple small spots, but after doing some work on it I discovered more rust. ok i'm done typing thinking about it is starting to piss me off.

clean looking car though, just as long as you know what you are getting into.
