What chipset does your PS2 have? A lot of the older ones are having tons of trouble with this game, but the newer (last 2 years) units handle it just fine. I've had no FPS issues on my game.

When do the custom car parts stores or whatever become available. I've driven around looking for them where the big fold out map says they are, and I cannot find.

you have to do some missions... i think its one of the ones at the person next to your house... the S person.. you have to do a lowrider mission and then you can start going to it


also i have no problems with the FPS and i think its much more realistic than ever before... more weapons, clothes, hairstyles

After meeting Ceaser Vialpaldo (the Hispanic guy), he'll ask you to come with him to do car stuff. He'll show you his shop where you can hook up only certain "lowrider" cars. All cars will be customizable, but not until you get more into the game.

dude, i just ran into a mk2/mk3 red golf looking car in the game, it was pretty sweet in a sense. it was lowered on some 17" six-spokes and had a dual exhaust. but yeah, i've got full muscles and half stamina... and like 1/8 sex appeal... im wearing a 5 tee-shirt, grey pants, white shoes with a flat top... i guess the ladies dont like the hip hop styling

Yeah...Ive never played any of the GTA games on console..Everybody said "oh VC isnt coming out for PC blah blah blah..." few weeks later..its out... :roll:
