Question about saving bandwidth

Cant the mods or Jordan just delete some of these pointless posts? I understand locking them keeps people from posting and saves some but they are still sitting there with the rest of the posts (i dont know what that would be called, wasted bandwidth maybe :roll: )
Just wondering so i thought i'd ask

If you just go deleting threads then everyone starts going "Why'd my thread get deleted you guys are all nazis I hate you".

Hopefully locking delivers the point that "These types of posts are wastes of bandwidth"
Also, if it gets deleted there will probably be a repost of the same thing.

Its a lose lose situation. I'm not going to deal with it. If everyone posts pointless shit all day long, and I go over my bandwidth, and can't pay, then the site goes offline. Simple case of cause and effect.

Deleting topics that are "idle" wont cut down on bandwidth as it has already been used for the site.
