Well the gas prices are slowly going up and the fuel efficient cars that are out are fucking ugly.

I agree with what Glenn Beck said recently -- let capitalism work! If you bail out companies that have trouble, you're just trashing capitalism and running toward socialism. Survival of the fittest, and all that rot.

        blargh.

Toyota homers suck it. They're not even THAT reliable. They're just cashing in on the good will they cultivated with four bangers. Japanese don't know six cylinders just like BMW doesn't know 8 bangers. /endthread.

Toyota's 4 bangers suck. Didja hear of the massive recall on all the 2.2l's because of excessive sludge buildup?

So does the 135i suck because of the HPFP recalls?

1 recall doesn't reveal much about a car's overall reliability..

What they say about GM being to big to fail is true, as much as I hate to admit it.

Do you know how many companies will be affected if GM dies completely? GM piles a bunch of other peoples parts into their cars everyday, their suppliers will be devasted.

                More than 100 japanese companies:

Not to mention german companies like Bosch? Even Italians like Brembo (who make more brake rotors than you would think for GM)?

GM is way to big and definitely need to restructure.

They should be made up of Chevy (econo & performance), Cadillac (luxury & performance), and GMC (trucks). Not the 9 companies they were.

restructuring is really what they need. The downfall of GM would adversely effect our economy and things would be ALOT worse then they are now. They are a major player, and at a time like this we can't really afford to be crippled by losing a major player to our economy. You slow things down... you slow down income, spending, BAM hardcore recession/depression.
