This is what happens when you start thinking...Way Off Topic

...you come up with dumb things to complain about. So here's my complaint:

At the Regal Cinemas, you are charged an adult seat price at the age of 12.
-Adult=12 when they can charge more. This bugs me.

At the courthouse, you're held accountable for your own actions, and in some states can't bang 15 year olds when you're 18.
-Adult=18 for the hell of it. Doesn't bother me at all, because 18 is a good age.

At the bar you're only allowed to drink at 21. This is TURLY an adult priveledge....psh.
-Adult=21 because people act stupid when drunk. Whatever.

It seems very inacceptable to me that at the age of 18, one is not seen as controlled or experienced enough to drink alcohol. Yet, the gov't and every major media center are encouraging 18 year olds to choose the future leader of "the most powerful nation on Earth." Does anyone else see how poorly thought through this is? Does anyone think this is a good thing? Does anyone think it's too late at night for me to be posting all this jibberish?

Yes it should be like Europe where you can drink at a young age but have to be older to drive. We should move that privledge to 21.

Was not true in my military days...but I got out in 1981. Any military person could drink, on base, at age 18..I went in 2 months after I turned 17. No minors in combat, though.
I feel drinking, driving, voting and fucking should all be legal at 18. Well, maybe 16 should be legal for fucking, but it should certainly be the same everywhere.
www.ageofconsent.com shows Colorado to be 14 under certain circumstance, but read Washingtons' law...16 is legal no matter what.

You will all change your opinion on these issues as you age...assuming you have children. Did I mention my daughter is almost 17?

I find it unacceptable that people who have to be at least 16 years of age can still butcher the english language as badly as you did.

Well, I did post right when I got home from work. Very early in the morning. But I still don't see my errors so I suppose that makes me stupid.

                            b.t.w. I'm not 16.
