i was wondering what sites you use for fixing stuff / how to's for e30's. I know r3v and e30tech, but what non-forum sites? Is there any e30 equiv to www.bmwe34.net ?

Bentley E30 Repair Manual if you haven't bought one yet.

There's a ton of guides and walkthroughs out there. There was a pretty comprehensive list on e30tech a while ago. It may take some searching to dig it up.
