    Clunking from rear

When I hit large bumps in the road (potholes and road joints) sometimes it feels like the car wants to "step out" to the left. It almost seems like something is out of alignment in the back. I R&R'd the tabs and subframe bushings in december and had no issues, this has started in the last month or so. Checked tire pressures, 36ish all the way around. Also I hear a clunk/ thud when I hit the bumps. Its quite frustrating. I'm going to jack it up and look for obvious things but if anyone has any input that'd be great.:hitler:

Check your shock mounts in the trunk.

Open trunk, remover cover and push up and down on the car. You should see it move or hear it clunk. In the process of fixing mine.

Check them. If they were not OEM the might have gone bad already.

I hate buying cheap stuff! I hope thats the issue bc the car is a bit of a pain in the ass to drive when it wants to do what it wants

bilsteins will chew up the oem shock mounts.. you should upgrade them.

How does a blown rear shock sound? Less than 3k and the damn things leaking like a seive :curse: Good news is shock mounts are good and there will be a new shock on weds for me @ my local autozone. The only good thing about this problem is that it made me attend to other clunks etc that I'd been ignoring!

with the bilsteins do yourself a favor and put in the JT or other hd/billet RSMs. it make a world of difference, especially in the longevity issues.
aftermarket stock RSMs just don't seem to last and there isn't that much of a price jump from oem to the JT's
