A local guy got this car on a trade, its a 83 320i with stripped interior, 1 racing seat, one regular, 5 spd. Waiting on pics, runs and drives great apparently. Are 320i's worth messing with or are they just archaic? what fuel system do they have? Jetronic?

is your e21 a 323 or 320? and are you regulating it with an FMU or MS. And i think its safe to say i know what i'm doing.

Its a 320i and Im using SDS EFI as the engine management which is programmable on the fly. If you know what your doing, then go get one!! :D

Ok, the body is pretty clean other then it missing bumpers. The interior is stripped as i said, the floor is a bit rusty but i can weld decently. Has BMP strut brace, not sure about suspension. ASking 1000, what should i offer? 750?

Yeah 1k is a lot, i would go with 700-750 as you said.

Went out and looked at it and it wasn't worth making an offer even. bad windshield crack and rust rusty floor, motor ran decent and tach didn't quite work right, more of a beater then i had hoped.
