    quick oil change question

after you change the oil, do you have to give it a break in period? like no driving past certain rpms for x miles?

if it were me, i'd just take it around the block a few times to make sure the oil is circulating. i change my oil all the time and never have a problem.

When I change the oil I start it up and drive around the block, then re-check the level then I'll give it hell.

all you need to do is wait untill the vehicle has gained oil pressure (when the oil can light goes out)...shut it off and re-check the level...oh and make sure the oil is warm before you drain it out.
