Copper Nuts on Exhaust Manifold?

    most european automotive shops have an assortment of the copper self locking exhaust nuts. just hit them up to sell you as many as you need.

    alos try a speciality european parts store.

      Been there, done that, no success. I tried everything short of reducing it to nothing, before I reduced it to nothing and the manifold slid right off.

      I honestly have no explanation as to why it was such an obstacle, but it took 3 days before it even budged.

        Nah, I didn't mean it that way. Our BMW dealership is BMW/Porsche/Audi/VW. The BMW parts counter didn't have them, so they told me to go check with the VW/Audi department, and they had a bag in stock.

        And same problem here, I went to/called almost every parts store in town, NO ONE had the all-metal lock nuts.
