whats your opinion?? i need some help

Ok so i've got an 85 325e and i'm having a hard time decided if i should take me money and buy some wheels and tires used from someone on here or if i should buy a beater for the winter. my cars got 73,000 miles on it and i'd love to not drive it in the winter anymore but its on h&r race springs and it needs something other then stock bottlecaps. what would you do?? buy some wheels and tires an suck it up and drive it in the winter?? or buy smething else for the winter and put the car away and buy some wheels over the winter and have the car ready for next summer?? thanks for the help

      wait, what?

that made no sense. If you buy wheels to put on your car that you don't want to use in the winter, what is stopping you from putting your stock bottlecaps on when winter comes around?

i re-read your post again, and it makes a little more sense. just drive the 325e in the winter on stock B-caps, and store the aftermarket wheels. Run through the automatic touch free car wash every once in a while to get the road salt off.

how mint is your 325e anyway? i mean, if that thing is showroom flawless, yeah, get a winter beater. But if the car is average, i wouldn't worry so much about it. After all, its an '85 eta, not exactly a rare or highly sought-after car.

very true. i frget that the car has been through 20 winters or so already and it still looks good and i probably take care of it better then anyone else has.

Make your '85 eta the winter beater and pick up a late model E30 with plastic bumpers and make that your mean machine
