Sound not working on Valentine 1

I did a google search and it didn't come up with much. The rest of it works fine, just no sound.

A bit of background, I bought it knowing the sound didn't work off of craigslist for $125 bucks.

Anyone have any ideas?

I already knew that. I figure if I can't fix it myself, I'll do that since it's pretty cheap or send it to them for an upgrade, give them $185 and I'll get a brand new one.

But I have a feeling it might be on some weird muted mode or something. I dunno, I figured it couldn't hurt to ask around.

All I can think of is to hold the button in for a sec....
