Anyone delt with Vac Motorsports before?

yes, i have.
i have a set of their solid motor mounts and one of the studs broke off.

Brian was very helpful and even sent me new studs for free, just shipping. which was nice concidering that they were on the car when i bought it and was not the orginal purchaser. they even threw in a handfull of stickers.

Hmmm thinking about picking up a Supersprint from them cause they're the cheapest.

Was just there today for their 25th anniversary BBQ. Nice place, serious machine shop too. Very legit place.

Dealt with them a number of times. Rebuilt a couple heads for me - technically Milano machine shop did the work since it's adjacent to their place. Good machine work. For some of their stuff they are overpriced, but they have a lot of unique parts. I like the employees, usually very eager to help, but sadly the owners rub me the wrong way. I so much want to find a pro BMW shop that I can depend on, but not sure I would trust my vehicles to them.

So if all you're doing is buying an exhaust, you should be good.

i bought some arp head studs from them and when i got them a stud was missing. called them about it and i got one shipped within a few days. i would say they have pretty good service even with what happened.

buying the exhaust from vac is still going to be cheaper than bmp? doesn't bmp have free shipping on that? i was thinking about buying one to. bavarian had my exhaust on backorder for over two months so i cancelled the order!

I drove a car they built, very nice craftsmanship. I've heard nothing but good things.

They held a bmwcca meeting that I went too. Very serious guys, they know there stuff and have everything you could ask for and if they don't they will make it. Employees are very eager and the owner kinda stood behind them and let them do the work, can't blame em. There body shop is also excellent at getting rid of rust too. There moving soon and expanding there machine shop too :)
