I have a '87 325is. I really like it but it is starting to need some work. Tune up, new rear shocks, new rear brake pads, new exhaust/muffler. So I am looking at doing this and I figure I can do it for not so much money. But at the same time I really need a 4 door car. So my question is, how hard is it to trade these cars? I would be up for a 4 door E30. On the current market I am not to interested in to many new cars. They just are not as good as my e30, does any one else feel this way?
I love that this is a classic car already and it is a strong performer but the 4 door would be better suited for my life style right now. So I was thinking that I could sell this one, trade it in on another car, park it and by another car, or trade it straight across.
Thoughts? I figured I would ask you folks since you are the most knowledgeable E30 folks on the net. I have not had such a hard time with making a decision with a car before. I really like this car and would like to keep it but I can't see holding on to it and buying another car.
Thanks very much for any comments or suggestions.
