e30 325ia vs. 325i / 325is

I saw someone selling an e30, and they said it was a 325iA, but I have NO idea what the difference is between a 325iA and it's i / is counter-parts, anyone care to explain what this is?

i = base model, either 5-speed or automatic

is = sport model, either 5-speed or automatic
