I liked the third episode better than the first two as it seems to be a bit more real topgear. The first two episodes felt like a generic bland versions of topgear. Hope that by the 4th they'll be back to normal topgear

    btw

I had a good laugh with Macintyre (sp?)

Ken Block was actually the dissapointing bit for me. Granted it's still great driving by Ken, still about years away from what I could do if I practiced non-stop, but not as great as his famous videos. Looking at his driving it did strike me that he was fairly more conservative when comparing to his normal videos.

The Merc black was pretty surprising. Even though Clarkson cannot be quoted for facts, if Merc took the initiative to move their super sports cars to a more simple suspension/steering design, that's a big improvement right there. And I can probably see where Jeremy is coming from saying that the Black's ride is solid like a stone. But he pins it against a SL350. Aren't we forgetting there's still an SL65 AMG? For people who want performance with ride comfort, there's Merc's middle range between an SL350 and the Black.

But, Top Gear is more for entertainment than anything. Good episode overall.

What's sad is he didn't even poke fun at the plain old auto transmission.

its because the gobs of torque require a simple automatic, sadly.

I'll take the Megane R26R in a heartbeat, such a badass car, it reminds me of a 997 GT3RS meeting a Renault Megane.

If that was, in fact, live ammunition used in the last bit of the episode, I am very shocked and amazed BBC would allow Clarkson to take place in that. Who knows though, maybe it was more of the same TG theatrics.

I don't believe anything those guys say really. They're a blast to watch, and don't get me wrong- I'm addicted.... but they exaggerate so much!! Every challenge is obviously faked/altered to make it "closer" etc.

So, I'm assuming Block was in episode 4.
Anyone have links to Ep. 4 and 5?
