    19# injector source?

Well im looking for a set of new or fully rebuilt injectors

I'm guessing that i would need the 4 hole spray style

not sure on the impedence i would need...

saw a set of 6 for about 90 bucks

can someone give me some guidance?

also if i plan to remove the intake mani to blast it, what gaskets would i need beside the obvious TB and block gaskets?

    thanks

I use something similar on my car, you should be fine with those. not sure about your intake mani questions though.

Those should work, as well as the Bosch type 3 (Mustang 5.0) injectors:

17lbers from an M50 or S50 would work also; I believe those are 3-pintle.

These 19# bosch/ford injectors are all over the JYs. Its a 5 finger discount part. Any 97-2000 crown vic, thunderbird etc will have them.

I just got some used injectors since I'm on a meager budget and they came as a package deal with a mark d, but if I had the cheddar I'd go for the cleaned and flow matched ones (almost did anyway). The price is decent.

Yeah I know a guy who's got like 30 injectors, but I don't think he gave a shit about them and they were all in pretty bad condition. I just wanted to get some to put in immediately.

There is no such thing as rebuilt injectors. Only ones that have been cleaned.

The skinny EV6 injectors pictured above never appeared on the 5.0 Mustang. They showed up in the late 90s modular OHC engines. In 2000 or there about Ford switched to a oval shaped plug so the 97-00 injectors are a relatively rare hybrid of EV6 injector with EV1 rectangular plug. You can also find these in 20, 22, 24, 30, and 36# in other cars from the same era... if you know where to look ;)
I have my M42 running on a 22# version with good results.

I'm trying to source the injectors myself. I plan on picking them up used for cheap and getting them rebuilt the right way.
