Hey guys,
So i have a couple of questions. A friend of mine is about to pick up this AUTO 1987 325 Cabriolet. It is in decent condition is worth the money hes paying for it. But there is a problem, pretty much the bottom end of the engine is toast. Everything else in the car is good. So what i am thinking is...sell my friend the engine out of my totaled 525 to put in the e30.
There would not be a problem putting this engine in?
What other parts would we have to change to swap the AUTO to the 525`s tranny?
What else should we worry about?

Try checking the m30 & other swaps section, also try using the Search function it's very helpful. There are threads galore explaining the swap with nice detailed lists of everything you need, including instructions for performing the swap! Stop being lazy and do some research, it's not the like m50 is common swap or anything.
