You make me laugh. ABS is heavy, doesn't work very well and all of my driving instructors told me to take it out. As for the excessive speed, it was adequate for the conditions and the roadway and not illegal. The limit was 55 so 60 was not uncalled for.

I think in this situation, all ABS would have done is made you hit the deer at a higher speed. At least you didn't swerve doing 60, spin and roll the car.
