e30's are great little cars. They are sooo original and thats what i love about em. The fact that i dont see many people with my car is great. My e30 has only failed me twice and the 2nd time was because I overlooked something when I was putting it back together. These cars are so easy to work on its redic.

there definately not hard cars to work on..when i got mine 4 months ago i didnt even know how to check my oil..but i learned, and most stuff i do myself or with the help of my bf who also has a e30. My car has been really reliable except it wouldnt start 1 time but only because my battery was 5 years old and needed replaced.

a friend bought one after driving mine...
lil tweaks here in there and the car will handle as good as your srt if not better..
im on my third in 2 years... sold two and tried somethin else but came back to a 90 325is.... gotta love em...
mine came with complete documentation and records from 91. Do not get a 325 without knowing the condition of the timing belt.....

They are great cars. Just set aside some $$$ to do some baseline maintenance work. ie. change all fluids, plus/wires/cap/rotor, timing belt(if unknown), and other quirks. We just dropped $2350 on repairs on our e30 but it runs like a brand new car now.
Good luck.BMWs: 73 2002 sold, 83 320is totaled, 90 325ic sold, 04 X3 2.5i sold, 00 323it
