    E30 M3 S52 Engine Swap (Fan dilemma)

So I live at 7,000 ft in Utah.

    I just dropped the 99' S52 M3 into my e30 M3.

My question: what is the consensus on a rad. fan? It does't look like I have much room to fit one; I will be keeping my A/C. There isn't any traffic here;but- what is the fan verdict?

    Thanks for your time

    John

Search the 24V forum my friend. This has been discussed several times. You can even check the areas where I've posted because I too had the same issue.

idk if this would help or i understand the question but if you got one of those super thin radiators wouldnt you possibly have more room for a fan???

well i am not sure about the m3 but on my 318is i did the s52 + S/C with a radiator for a M42. I was able to keep the factory fan and fan clutch.

I see. So the M42 radiator is thinner? Car not running hot at all?

it runs great and doesn't over heat at all.
