    wheels off???

    Okay,
Sorry for the total noob question, I have looked and not found the answer so hopefully someone can answer me quickly and this thread can fade away..Do I need to take my wheels off to remove the center caps on my bottlecap rims?

it's been awhile since i've had bottlecaps but i'm pretty sure the answer is no, you don't have to remove the wheels.

You should be able top pop it out with some force and wiggling I think. I know the weave cap is a cam lock...

it will pop off but if you can't get it off, then you will have to take the wheel off and pop it from the other side

Technically no, you don't have to remove the wheel. But it will be much less frustrating if you do.

I think I am going to have to take the wheels off if I don't want to destroy them...they are STUCK!! More than likely been in there for twenty years..

They pry off, but you will bend them if they are stuck at all. I just pulled mine off and used a large socket, extension, and hammer to pop them out.You gotta give it a good whack, though; hit it too light and it won't come out straight.
