how the hell do you get this out?

I will try my best to explain this. on the inside of the car, near the door, it is kind of holding the carpet down, there is a black plastic strip. How the hell do you get that out? I have been trying to just pull it straight off figuring it is like the rest of bmw's trim work (pull the hell out of it.) but this is not budging. i tried to find it on real oem but to no avail; i will try to get a picture of it.

    Any help?

And that plastic is brittle as hell, so most likely it will break. New trim isn't expensive though and looks nice!

Yeah just be careful. I actually only have 2-3 clips on my 4 door now for each one. holds fine and makes it 10x easier to pull up when needed
