My Dad was burned in an electrical fire, 3rd degree on his upper 40% including his eyes. He's fine now, but it was crazy when it happened. We became Christians during his recovery. I backslid, then came back to Christ.never saw the blue ones. i used to get them at Hardy's shoe store? or something like that for under $10 a pair.
i seemed to do my best to not make it, but i have survived to 37. shit i was even on fire a coule of years ago and it didn't kill me.
check out this cool circa 1988 pic i posted in the "mug shot" thread rocking creepers!
The creepers are cool, man - hard to find back in the day. Not a lot of people could pull them off...Leave a comment:

Thanks mang :D
Affe, they were lace-ups. On a rare occasion the AN store would get blue ones - do you remember those? Winos were super comfortable if not long lasting, but at 1/3 the price of Chuck Taylors or Vans, they were a good option.
How old are you? I'm surprised I made it to 25.
Yeah, that was a bit confusing ;)
Thanks dude, that must have been December '87 or Feb '88Leave a comment:

What a great piece of memorabilia & you have on the requisite black "Vans" to go with those white socks !! You were truly an '88 fashion plate...............

Thanks guys, yeah, I blown away when my cousin sent that to me yesterday.
ROFL! That was before they made little socks for men. I was too hardcore to push my socks down like all my friends did :pimp:
Yeah mang, that's pretty much what my wife said, too ;)Leave a comment:

I remember in '90 (16 y/o) when I saw the e30 m3 up close for the first time. I told myself that I had to have one. The enthusiasm hasn't changed.
Thanks for the pic!Leave a comment:
