    New Member, My First Post....

    What's up guys, my name is Rick. I don't drive an e30 (unfortunatly) but I do drive an 2001 VW GTi VR6. I am a fan of Bimmers, but I don't know to much. I hope to broaden my knowledge here at rev. I have been lurking on the forums (not posting) but just reading here at work. And I finally decided to start posting. If any of you know Rob (Skafrog) I am a good friend of his, and he has helped me learn a lot about e30s, in fact I helped him change his rear sawy bar out a couple of weeks ago. I am normally over at http://www.vwvortex.com , so check it out if you get the VW/Audi urge. Anyway, I just wanted to say hey to everyone and let you guys know that I am looking forward to learning alot about BMWs.

    Oh, since this is the General Discsussion forum, I guess I better add a car pic....

                  Well like I said I own a GTi, and am making payments on it. I've tossed around the idea of selling it and buying an e30 m3, but I don't think I will. If anything I will buy an old e30 and fix it up, that or a MKII Gti. Then again, I said that about my 91 CRX Si, and I sold it and my Jeep for the GTi.

                  Also, I forgot to mention in my first post that I will be making my posts from work, and only a handfull of sites aren't blocked here. So if you post a link to a story, bear with me when I ask you guys if you can copy paste.

                  Also, I'd though I would just throw in Skafrog's e30, becuase it is the best one around town. That is an old pic though, I believe he has an is front lip, custom splitter, and some ronal basketweaves. That's me in the red and white shirt in the backround....


                  Also, is the General Discussion forum only for e30s while the Community forum is for all cars? Or is it the other way around?

                      General discussion is for anything bmw related really. I suppose you could throw in a little bit of VDubs.

                      Community is usually non-car related where we just "hang out."
