It's for sure a real M3? I see absolutely no reason why someone would convert the taillights on a real M3.

that ti could be nice with a little work. There's just a lot of de-ricing to be done.

i really dont like the taillights on that m3. i have seen that m3 in glendale at a parked in front of some muffler shop on brand. its also has some ugly angel eyes, but the rest of the car looks ok.
