Check out this tool "interested" in buying my rims

here is a email from him, he already sent me a email before asking what is included and that he wants to get the transaction going quick, i tohught i had my sale so i sent him a reply saying what is included with my rims and this is the email after that

    "Hello,
Thanx for gettin back to me and i am very happy that our transaction has been moving good.so i want u to understand that i really need that stuff for a very important purpose.
But this is what will be done about the payment,i would instruct a client of mine that is owining me the sum of $5800 to issue out a cashier check in your name so that you can cash it and deduct your $1900 from it and send the balance to my shipping agency that would prepare for the pick up in ur location.
And i will like everything about this payment to be done snappy so that my shpping agency can come for the pick up.So i need your full name, address and phone number so that i can intruct him to issue the payment in your name okay.
i am hoping to hear from u soonest cos i will like us to finish this transaction soonest.

    Regards"

can i report this somewhere, because i have heard lots of these stories, where people were actually dumb enough or whatever to get fooled with this

Most common scam EVER. I've not even touched cashier's check in years, especially from people who cannot form proper sentences (yes, i realise i make 1 billion typos a post)

I would make some shit up about having him send you the cashiers check and $30 in cash so you can cash the cashiers check because your bank requires a $30 fee for the use of cashiers checks.

You can really get something out of these people.

Yeah you should be fine with that stuff. Your bank account routing information and and account numbers are only verifiable and accessible if accessed inside the united states through a person that is authorized by the SEC to be able to make such direct-requests. Social security numbers are also no worry; hand them out freely.

I wouldn't hand out any personal information. I would give as little as possible. Have it shipped to your work or school's address under your name.

These people are normally from somewhere in Africa. They aren't going to come to the US, much less be allowed to board and airplane headed here. But if they did, I wouldn't want to meet one of them.

Eitherway, if you do something with that person, document it so you can send it to 419eater.com. You'll have a good time.

A lot of these guys are educated in US. I meet a bunch of locals when I was in Ghana for 2 weeks. Most older guys had been to school either in NY area or in DC area colleges on our buck.

Ladies there spoke on average of 6 languages. Everyone always trying to scam a buck. Want you to pay them for just socializing with anybody. I had a good time in ACCRA but people there are fucked up.

I bought a 10 bongo drum set that was hand made on the beach where we were for $85.00.

They can get into the US fairly easy Air Ghana flys a L1011 daily from Accra to JFK and Dulles international.
