My friend Jesse and I stood in line for over an hour last night at Game Crazy, and got his copy at 1:00 AM. We went and got food, and spent the next 4.5 hours playing non-stop. I have to say...

IT'S FUCKING AWESOME!

It really is a triumph over the first. You can go dual-guns, the graphics engine is awesome, and just every aspect of the game really is just really good. Go out and get this game ASAP. I may go buy an XBOX just so I can play myself.

i'll have to say i'm not impressed with the game at all. the graphics are NOT impressive at all so far (the model for the cityscape looks like generic shit), and there are polygonal glitches everywhere. did anyone else notice the detail changes they are trying to use in the models? it looks like when the framerate is going to be bogged down they cut the shadows/textures down considerably on certain models. so far not impressed. far cry is still the champ. i've only seen up to where you are able to ride the ghosts, though. hopefully it gets better because all i see is hype and no goods.

i happened to wake up this morning with a sinus infection so i didnt go to school. i picked it up about 3 hours ago and waited for my friend to get out of school to go over to his house and play cus my xbox is at my moms. we just played some split screen and the new guns and duel wielding are pretty sick

My cousin works in the gaming industry and had the opportunity to go to Texas a couple months ago and test it out. He told me that characters are composed of "blocks", and generally, the more blocks used to create the character, the more detail. Apparently in Halo 2, they use 1/2 the blocks they used in the first one.
