After working 9 days on my project I am finally at the home stretch, getting it to start. However this parts undoubtly is the most difficult compared to the other problems I have run into, which were quite difficult, such as the broken bolts in the flywheel, and turbo. fabricating engine mount, and getting turbo to clear idler arm.
AFter figuring out how to get the starter to turn over with the 320 system. The car wasnt getting any spark, however we hooked up some wires that were hidden in the harness, and we successfuly got spark, and tested the plugs, coil, etc..
now the car isnt starting. We assumed it wasnt getting enough air, so we pulled off the charge pipe to see if it would start without the turbo pressure. nope.
well, fuel was left. When we first started the car, one line wasnt fully tightened down, and gas was spewing everywhere. so I assume the system is getting fuel. The fuel distributor from the volvo is leaking a Tiny bit from the top of the dizzy, so fuel is getting to the injectors, but might not be fully spraying. I had the Tii Fuel pump on with this, which may not pump sufficient pressure to activate the injectors, but I am not fully sure. I removed the TII fuel pump before I left, to swap in the 320 high pressure fuel pump. I need a T fitting, before i Hook it up.
The car is an absolute mess BTW, this motor was NOT meant for the car, and has NOT been a good experience. Many bolts broke off, the system was leaking, and the injectors were making a Whining noise when they first got fuel, but the Tii fuel pump stopped buzzing, for some reason, andthe fuel system became quieter.
