    Well, duh, everyone knows our ECUs are programmed for a specific amount of backpressure.
    - 2000 Audi S4 Stg 2 (sold)
    - house (bought)
    - 1997 Civic Hatch (shaky but driveable)
    - 2010 Sportster 1200 Forty Eight Ed. (vroom)
    - 1991 318is S50B30 (TBA)

      well seeing as how there is a gigantic exhaust leak it make sense it would run better without the o2 sensor... it prolly thinks it running lean as hell and just keeps dumping more fuel in it.... his problem is most likly an easy fix, as long as his exhaust valves are'nt jakced up

        why dont people realize that large online forums such as bmw-forums, bimmerforums, dtmpower, etc statistically have a larger amount of misinformed members who are likely to post stupid comments. Sites like that dont have a tight technically proficient community such as r3v. If you go to places like bmw-forums just for laughs i'd say you have too much time on your hands

              been down that road, Had a 87 4000CSQ with a Calloway unit on it and also have done the VW route with a Corrado G60 and a Scirocco 2.0l 8v.

              I I would like to go back to a vintage Capri Circa 1973 but it will need the Cossie engine.
