My buddy just sold his f150 with a straight 6 in it. Bought it with like 35k miles on it and sold it at 45k-50k. This was a 94 too! Despite the low miles it was anything but "minty". He just bought a 95 f 250 turbodiesel with 180k on it and it feels newer than the f150 he had before.

Drive it, If you come along a cheap alternative transport then get it and break up the mileage.

Mechanical things need to be exercised.

        *sigh

Drive the car, just stay on top of keeping it pristine! My vert has 96k on it now (I've put 12k on it in the last 7 months), and it looks just as clean as that one...driving it isn't going to ruin it. Enjoy it!

Just drive it... it's an e30 for fucks sake. Unless it's an m3 it will never be a real collector car so you might as well get some use out of the thing.

I say split the mileage between the e30 and something else. Than you can keep the low mileage and still have some fun with it but have the other to beat around in every day.
Some people just need a sympathetic pat...

drive the shit out of it. take reasonable care of it and enjoy it,.. why even own it if youre not going to enjoy it?

BLUNT, whats funny is that there was OEM rims on the car many many years ago...when I inherited the car the OEM rims had long since disappeared...and what you see is what it had on it....

I'll find the right rims soon enough...hey I checked out that web site, they say your a devoted re-peat customer ;)

and im taking donations for the "Red325i Alpina Rim" foundation....

TwoJs-- i know it wont ever be worth lots of money, but...it was a "family" car and has sentimental value more than anything...

Drive it!! In 10 or 15 years... restore it and drive it some more. If it holds a lot of sentimental value by then, pass it on to a family member that would appreciate it in your will. I mean why not?

UPDATE.....i ended up w/ a sweet deal on a car... found a '93 Buick, V6 clean, straight, clean, runs awesome....For............$700 bucks!!!

Not the coolest car, but for $700 bucks cant beat it....

Sooooo now ive been detailing the Vert, looking for parts and not too worried about the miles now!

....now if i run across a truck ill prob still grab that and ditch the Buick!
